The Customer

From buying timber to building high quality mats, the Sturgis Mat Company has it covered.  We do it all.
Unlike many other mat providers, we buy the timber, harvest the timber, saw the logs, and build the mats. This allows us to ensure the integrity and quality of our mats.  Follow the picture tour below to see how our mat making process works.

Once the logs arrive at the Sturgis Mat Company’s facility, they are cut to the specified size  and length, and then readied for the hole boring process.  

The Sturgis Mat Company’s innovative mat making machine finishes the process off by boring the holes and installing the appropriate hardware (bolts, cables, etc.).
